The main administrative areas and office suites that consist of multiple closed offices and open office spaces where cubicles are used for employees to perform day-to-day task. The retrofitted with two Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs):

  • RTU Scheduling. The Air Handling Units (AHUs) is served by four Trane RTUs with DX cooling and natural gas heating and run 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Significant energy savings are calculated because the building is only open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Installation of lighting occupancy sensors. Ideally suited for small applications that are considered intermittently occupied. Many of the corridors, restrooms, conference rooms, courtrooms, enclosed offices, and open spaces within the County Clerk’s Office did not use occupancy sensors. This recommendation should result in an annual energy savings of 1,292-kWh and an annual cost savings of $161.51.
